I am Isaiah Anderson, a graduating senior Information Technology major from Charlotte, North Carolina, with a passion for technology, leadership, innovation, and professional development.
I am a 4x Dean’s List recipient, National Honors Society member, former Senior Class Secretary for the 2025-2026 academic year, and a Spring 2025 initiate into the Beta Iota Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated.
My experience includes web development, database management, software development, technical troubleshooting, IT support, project coordination, and leadership development. I enjoy creating modern digital solutions that combine clean design, functionality, and strong user experience.
I have also had the opportunity to attend HBCU Student Days with Cisco and Lenovo, where I gained valuable exposure to corporate technology environments, professional networking, career development, and conversations with industry professionals. These experiences helped me better understand how technology, innovation, communication, and relationship-building connect in real-world professional spaces.
I am passionate about continuous learning and using technology to create opportunities, solve problems, and positively impact communities through leadership and innovation.
I served as the pageant coordinator for the 2025-2026 Miss Old Gold and Black Pageant. In this role, I supported event planning, participant coordination, communication, scheduling, setup, and overall execution. This experience reflects many qualities of project management, including organization, time management, leadership, problem-solving, attention to detail, and the ability to bring a vision to life through teamwork and structure.
My experience attending Cisco’s HBCU Student Day allowed me to network with technology professionals, learn more about corporate innovation, and gain insight into career opportunities within the tech industry. It strengthened my understanding of professional communication, career readiness, and the importance of building relationships in technology spaces.
Attending Lenovo’s HBCU Student Day gave me additional exposure to a major technology company and allowed me to connect with professionals, students, and industry leaders. This experience helped expand my perspective on technology, business, leadership, and the value of networking as an HBCU student preparing to enter the professional workforce.
Through roles such as former Senior Class Secretary and involvement with Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, I have developed leadership skills centered on communication, service, accountability, organization, and representing my peers with professionalism.
